Sebastián Díaz Amaya

Sebastián Díaz Amaya is a professional soldier in the Colombian Army who sustained serious injuries during a confrontation with a hostile crowd while participating in an operation to destroy a coca lab in Villagarzón, Putumayo. He was burned in the attack, which is reported to have been instigated by criminal groups controlling drug trafficking in the area, and was later airlifted for advanced medical care.
