Sebastiana Xocoxic

Sebastiana Xocoxic is a former scavenger of the river Las Vacas who now works with The Ocean Cleanup, sorting and classifying plastic waste to combat river pollution. After a traumatic incident involving her son, she shifted her focus to sustainable waste management, earning a stable income and contributing to efforts aimed at reducing the environmental impact of plastic in Guatemala.
