Sechele

Sechele was a significant leader of the Bakwena people in the 19th century, known for his resistance against colonial forces. He played a crucial role in uniting various Batswana tribes to confront the Transvaal Boers, notably during the Battle of Dimawe in 1852, where his tactical prowess led to a notable victory against a larger Boer commando.
