Selimchan Changoschwili was a Georgian national of Chechen descent, known for his involvement in the Chechen wars against the Russian army. He gained notoriety after being assassinated in Berlin in August 2019, a killing attributed to Russian FSB agents, which highlighted the ongoing issues of political assassinations and state-sponsored violence abroad.
