Senajid Avdic was a victim of the Srebrenica genocide, having been separated from his brother Zejad during the Bosnian war when he was just 19 years old. His remains were only partially recovered, with identification limited to a jawbone found in 2010, reflecting the tragic loss and enduring pain experienced by his family and many others affected by the massacre.
