
Senyei György
Senyei György, born in 1969, is a prominent Hungarian judge who graduated from the University of Miskolc's Faculty of Law in 1993. He began his judicial career at the Miskolc City Court in 1996, later serving at various levels including the Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County Court and the Metropolitan Court of Appeal. In 2019, he was appointed as the President of the National Office for the Judiciary, succeeding Handó Tünde. He is known for his engagement in legal reform discussions and has been a vocal advocate for judicial independence and proper remuneration for judges. Recently, he has been in the news regarding a public demonstration by judges protesting their pay disparities and proposed judicial reforms.
