Sergej K.

Sergej K. is a Ukrainian national who has been arrested in Italy in connection with the September 2022 sabotage of the Nord Stream 1 and 2 gas pipelines near Bornholm. He is suspected of being one of the coordinators of the operation that involved planting explosives on the pipelines, which resulted in significant damage and disruption of gas flows from Russia to Germany. His arrest took place in the province of Rimini while he was on vacation with his family, following a European arrest warrant issued against him due to the international implications of the case.
