Sergey Koretskiy

Sergey Koretskiy has recently been appointed as the new Prime Minister of Ukraine, succeeding Yuliya Sviridenko. Prior to this role, he served as the chairman of the management board of Naftogaz, Ukraine's state oil and gas company, where he had been instrumental in steering the company towards profitability. His tenure at Naftogaz followed a successful leadership at Ukrnafta, where he transformed the company into one of Ukraine's most successful state enterprises. Koretskiy’s appointment comes at a critical time as he is expected to address key issues such as energy security and the effective management of international aid, particularly in preparation for the upcoming winter season.
