Sergey Muchkaev

Colonel Sergey Muchkaev is a Russian military officer who was identified as one of the key figures responsible for the downing of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 in 2014. He was the commander of the 53rd Missile Brigade and was implicated in providing the Buk missile system used in the attack, resulting in his conviction and a life sentence in absentia by a Dutch court.
