Sergey Shilin

Sergey Shilin is a Belarusian military officer who serves as a colonel and commander of the 11th mechanized brigade, which is based in Slonim. He gained attention for leading the brigade during a significant combat readiness check in 2023, where for the first time a whole mechanized brigade was brought to full wartime readiness. This operation included mobilizing reserve personnel and conducting tactical exercises, reflecting a shift in military practices in Belarus.
