Sergio Castro González

Sergio Castro González is a political activist and legal advocate known for his involvement in electoral matters in Costa Rica. He recently gained attention for filing an electoral amparo against the national public radio and television system, Sinart, concerning the unauthorized airing of a political advertisement for Laura Fernández, a candidate from the Partido Pueblo Soberano. Castro argued that the broadcast violated electoral law by not clearly labeling the content as political propaganda, thereby infringing on the rights of voters and the principles of fair competition.
