Sergio Enrique Espinoza

Sergio Enrique Espinoza is the national director of the Dirección de Registro, Control y Administración de Bienes Incautados (Dircabi) in Bolivia. He recently came into the news for confirming the circumstances surrounding the return of a Cessna aircraft, which was previously seized in a drug trafficking case, to its owner. The aircraft, with registration CP-1860, was linked to the escape of hitmen involved in the assassination of Police Captain José Carlos Aldunate. Espinoza emphasized that Dircabi had no authority to retain private property without a judicial order, highlighting the legal complexities involved in the management of seized assets.
