Sergio Montañés

Sergio Montañés is a 44-year-old industrial draftsman from Spain who has been severely affected by a rare disease known as tyrosine kinase 2 deficiency (TK2d). Since 2017, he has experienced a progressive loss of strength, making even simple tasks difficult and leading to respiratory challenges. He is one of the approximately 60 diagnosed cases in Spain and is currently participating in a clinical trial for a treatment that could improve his quality of life.
