Sergio Murillo

Sergio Murillo is a regidor (councilor) from the Partido Progreso Social Democrático (PPSD) in Alajuela, Costa Rica. He recently gained attention after denouncing alleged political interference by José Miguel Villalobos, a candidate for deputy. Murillo stated that Villalobos attempted to pressure him into abandoning his support for Francisco Sánchez, the president of the Municipal Council of Alajuela, in favor of supporting the chavista party, Pueblo Soberano.
