Sergiy Korshun

Sergiy Korshun is a former political prisoner and the creator of the YouTube channel 'Не беглый' (Not a Fugitive). At 47 years old, he has a background in law enforcement, having served in the police until his dismissal in 2010. In 2020, he became involved in the movement for change in Belarus and was a key figure in the Telegram channel 'Армия с народом' (Army with the People). Following his arrest in July 2020, he was sentenced to 4.5 years in prison but completed his sentence and was released in July 2024, subsequently leaving Belarus. Recently, he gained attention for his critical comments regarding the behavior of fellow activist Sergei Tikhanovsky during a press conference after his release, emphasizing the need for strength and composure in leadership.
