Sergiy Rezanoich

Sergiy Rezanoich is a Belarusian Orthodox priest from the village of Stepanaki in the Zhabin district. He gained notoriety for his involvement in a political dissent movement against the regime of Alexander Lukashenko, which led to his arrest and a 16-year prison sentence. Before his imprisonment, he served as a priest in a church that has historical significance, and his family has been active in supporting opposition figures.
