Serguéi Tijanovski

Serguéi Tijanovski is a prominent Belarusian opposition leader and activist known for his role in the protests against President Alexander Lukashenko's regime. He gained significant attention as a key figure in the 2020 protests, which erupted in response to disputed presidential elections. Tijanovski was arrested shortly before the elections and subsequently sentenced to five years in prison. His wife, Svetlana Tijanóvskaya, became the face of the opposition movement, running for president in his stead.
