Serik Saltenov is the chief of the Astaninskoye reservoir, a strategic water source for the capital of Kazakhstan, Astana. He oversees the maintenance and safety of the reservoir, which holds around 400 million cubic meters of water. His responsibilities include managing flood control measures and ensuring the cleanliness and functionality of the reservoir, which has not been cleaned for over 55 years.
