Seyed Mohsen Mirhashemi

Dr. Seyed Mohsen Mirhashemi is a renowned Iranian heart transplant surgeon and a faculty member at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences. Born in 1963 in Kerman, Iran, he has made significant contributions to the field of heart transplantation, including performing the first heart transplant in Oman. With over 27 years of experience, he has conducted around 300 heart transplants and has authored the first Persian reference book on heart transplantation. His efforts have also involved training Omani doctors and establishing heart transplant protocols in Oman.
