Sghaier Ouled Ahmed

Sghaier Ouled Ahmed (1955-2016) was a renowned Tunisian poet and a prominent figure in contemporary Arabic literature, celebrated for his passionate advocacy for freedom, women's rights, and progressive ideals. His poetic works, characterized by their beauty and precision, often addressed themes of resistance and humanity, making him a beloved figure among intellectuals in Tunisia and the Arab world. Despite facing political challenges during his lifetime, he left behind a rich legacy, with many of his poems becoming popular anthems.
