Shabana Edhi

Shabana Edhi is a prominent humanitarian and the wife of Faisal Edhi, who took over the Edhi Foundation's efforts to care for orphans and abandoned children after the passing of her mother-in-law, Bilquis Edhi. Under her leadership, the foundation continues its critical work, including the initiative of providing cradles outside Edhi centers to offer a safe alternative for abandoned babies, particularly in addressing the alarming trend of female infant abandonment in Pakistan.
