Shabbir Ahmad Qureshi

Shabbir Ahmad Qureshi is a prominent activist and leader of the Diamer Youth Movement in Gilgit-Baltistan, known for advocating for the rights of local communities affected by infrastructure projects. Recently, he has been at the forefront of protests against the Diamer-Bhasha dam construction, voicing grievances regarding the lack of attention from authorities like the Wapda chairman and the GB chief secretary towards the concerns of residents regarding compensation and local employment opportunities.
