Shabir Ahmed Dar

Shabir Ahmed Dar is a Kashmiri shawl vendor who has been working in Mussoorie for 18 years. He was recently in the news after being assaulted by local youths in an incident linked to communal tensions, which forced him and several other vendors to leave the town for safety, leaving behind goods worth approximately Rs 12 lakh.
