Shadi is the head of operations for World Central Kitchen (WCK) in Gaza, overseeing the last functioning bakery in the region amidst an ongoing humanitarian crisis. With the bakery forced to relocate due to Israeli evacuation orders, Shadi has been instrumental in managing its operations, which currently produce 59,000 loaves of bread daily to support medical staff and displaced families. Despite the challenges posed by the Israeli blockade, he remains committed to maximizing production to address the severe food shortages faced by the people of Gaza.
