Shadi al-Tabatiby

Shadi al-Tabatiby is a Palestinian journalist and drone operator known for capturing stunning aerial footage of Gaza, showcasing both its beauty and the devastating impacts of war. Graduating from Al-Azhar University, he has worked independently for various news agencies since 2020. His work has become increasingly poignant amidst the ongoing conflict, as he documents the destruction caused by Israeli bombardments. Al-Tabatiby has faced the harsh realities of war after losing friends and colleagues in the conflict, leading him to fear for his own safety and that of his family.
