Shafiul Islam
Shafiul Islam is an engineer who has been working in the Gaibandha Municipality for approximately 13 years. He has been accused of demanding a six percent bribe for releasing project funds, as well as facing multiple allegations of misconduct, corruption, and harassment towards service recipients. Despite various complaints against him, he has managed to evade serious consequences, allegedly due to political backing from the ruling Awami League party.
