Shahar Mazal is the newborn daughter of Sagui Dekel-Chen, an Israeli-American who was recently released from captivity after being held by Hamas for 16 months. Her name, which translates to 'morning of luck' in Portuguese, was revealed to Dekel-Chen during a poignant reunion with his family.
