Shai-Lee Atarim

Shai-Lee Atarim is a passionate Israeli filmmaker and creative mentor known for her vibrant personality and resilience in the face of personal tragedy. After experiencing the loss of her husband, Yehav Wiener, in a terrorist attack, she has channeled her grief into numerous artistic projects, including films and television series that explore themes of loss, hope, and community. Atarim teaches at Sapir College, where she encourages young filmmakers to express their stories through creative mediums. She remains committed to honoring her late husband’s legacy while navigating her own healing journey.
