Dr. Shali Tafer is a seasoned forensic pathologist from the United States with over 40 years of experience in the field. She has held senior roles in various governmental organizations and has performed thousands of autopsies, primarily working in New York and other states. Following the outbreak of conflict on October 7, she volunteered to assist in Israel, where she encountered unprecedented challenges in her profession, dealing with the unique injuries inflicted by war.
