Shamaaila Imran Farooq

Shamaaila Imran Farooq was the widow of the late Pakistani politician Dr. Imran Farooq, a prominent leader of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM). She served as a member of the Sindh Assembly and was known for her involvement in political and social issues in Pakistan. Recently, she passed away in a London hospital after a prolonged illness, and her funeral prayers were held at the Regent's Park Mosque, with arrangements made to repatriate her body to Pakistan for burial beside her father in Karachi.
