Shams-ur-Rahman

Shams-ur-Rahman, a 40-year-old farmer from Afghanistan's eastern province of Kunar, recently made headlines as a survivor of devastating earthquakes that claimed the lives of six of his relatives. After losing his home, he fled with his family of nine, currently living in makeshift conditions by the roadside, struggling to find adequate shelter and resources.
