Shane Bell

Shane Bell, a 49-year-old man from Christchurch, was recently sentenced to six years and three months in prison for years of sexual abuse and exploitation of a vulnerable teenager. His actions, which included performing sexual acts on the boy numerous times and supplying him with drugs, were described by the court as deplorable and degrading. Bell, who displayed no remorse and was deemed at high risk of reoffending, was also placed on the Child Sex Offenders Register as part of his sentencing.
