Shane Whelan

Shane Whelan is the chief executive of Westridge Real Estate, a development firm that focuses on large-scale real estate projects. Under his leadership, the company acquired the former DIT campus on Kevin Street in Dublin for €145 million in 2019, intending to transform it into a mixed-use development comprising offices, apartments, and retail spaces. Recently, the project has been placed under receivership, and Whelan is working with CBRE to secure a buyer for the half-built site.
