Shani Aya Biton

Shani Aya Biton is a 25-year-old medical student from Herzliya, Israel, who recently began her studies at the University of Haifa's new medical school. Before her acceptance, she served in the Israel Defense Forces as a combat commander, where her experiences during the October 7 events deepened her commitment to the medical profession. Shani believes that her military service has equipped her with valuable skills in decision-making and functioning under pressure, which she will carry into her medical career.
