Shantha Pradeep Kumara Kularatna was recently in the news after being injured in a shooting incident while riding a motorcycle in Mahargama. The police reported that he was attacked by two individuals on another motorcycle who fired a pistol at him, causing him to fall approximately ten meters away from the scene.
