Shapur II

Shapur II was an ancient Persian king of the Sasanian Empire, reigning from 309 to 379 AD. He is noted for his military conquests and for being one of the few rulers to have successfully defeated the Roman Empire. His legacy continues to be celebrated in Iranian culture, and a statue honoring him was recently unveiled during a public concert in Tehran, symbolizing the historical significance of Persian leadership.
