Shapur Zadran

Shapur Zadran was a former Afghan fast bowler who represented the national team in 44 One Day Internationals (ODIs) and 36 Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is). He played a significant role in Afghanistan's historic victory against Scotland in the 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup, where his performance helped secure the team's first-ever win in a World Cup match. Tragically, Zadran passed away at the age of 38 after a long battle with cancer in New Delhi, prompting condolences from various figures in the cricketing community, including former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi.
