Shashero

Shashero is a Ukrainian rugby player and coach who has dedicated himself to nurturing the sport in his war-torn country. After leaving Ukraine to pursue professional rugby in Poland, he faced a serious knee injury that led him to coaching. Driven by a passion for rugby, Shashero co-founded an Under-16 team to develop young talent in Ukraine, aiming for the team to compete in the European Championship and ultimately qualify for the Olympics. Despite the challenges posed by the ongoing conflict, including the loss of players to the military and emigration, he remains optimistic about the future of rugby in Ukraine and works tirelessly to inspire the next generation.
