Shath Square

Shath Square was a Lieutenant in the Royal Canadian Navy during the Second World War, serving as the second-in-command on the landing craft LCI (L) 285. He played a significant role in the D-Day landings at Juno Beach, where he was responsible for the safety and coordination of his crew. Known for his reserved nature and leadership, Square was remembered fondly by his fellow veteran Richard Norris, who described him as a capable officer who prioritized the well-being of his men.
