Shaykh Hamza Yusuf

Shaykh Hamza Yusuf is a prominent American Islamic scholar and co-founder of Zaytuna College, the first accredited Muslim liberal arts college in the United States. He is known for his lectures on Islamic theology and has been influential in promoting a moderate interpretation of Islam. Recently, he was in the news due to his appointment to the White House Advisory Board of Lay Leaders, which has drawn criticism from some quarters for his alleged affiliations with Islamic jihadist groups.
