Sheena Asthana

Prof. Sheena Asthana is the co-director of the Centre for Coastal Communities at the University of Plymouth. Her research focuses on the mental health challenges in coastal areas, where she has identified significant issues such as higher rates of undiagnosed mental health problems among young people, urging for systemic change in public health responses.
