Shehda Hijazi

Shehda Hijazi is a Palestinian man from Khan Yunis, Gaza, who has faced extreme hardships due to the ongoing conflict. Since the onset of the war, he has lost significant weight and struggled to provide for his four children amidst a humanitarian crisis. In search of food, he has risked his life multiple times to reach a new aid center, the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), only to encounter dangerous conditions and inadequate assistance. His desperate journey reflects the dire situation faced by many Gazans, as he grapples with feelings of shame and failure when unable to bring food home to his family.
