Sheldrake

Sheldrake is a retired diesel mechanic and business owner from Tokoroa, New Zealand, who worked for NZ Forest Products Ltd (NZFP) and later founded Sheldrake Haulage Limited. After starting his career in the NZFP garage, he transitioned into contracting and established his own trucking business in 1980. Recognized for his contributions to the transport industry, he was inducted into the NZ Road Transport Hall of Fame in 2020. Sheldrake has deep roots in Tokoroa, where he has lived his entire life, and he has witnessed the community's growth linked to the forestry and milling industries.
