Sherab Palmo

Sherab Palmo is a Lake Alice unit survivor who, despite the traumatic experiences she faced in childhood, has gone on to become a qualified midwife. At 63, she reflects on her early ambitions of becoming a veterinarian, which were derailed by her time in the unit. She values the opportunity to connect with fellow survivors, feeling a sense of kinship with those who share similar experiences.
