Dr. Sherif Sedky is the CEO of the Egyptian Space Agency, where he leads various initiatives aimed at advancing space technology and research in Egypt. Under his leadership, the agency is currently developing a nanosatellite named 'Sphinx' that will monitor atmospheric changes and the impacts of climate change. Sedky has also emphasized the importance of training African engineers in space technology, with programs already in place that have trained 71 engineers from 34 countries. His vision includes establishing a technological zone within the agency to further develop local space industry capabilities.
