Sherko Tawfiq

Sherko Tawfiq serves as the head of the organizations at the 15th Center of the Democratic Party of Kurdistan in Diyala. He has highlighted the demographic changes and ethnic challenges faced by Kurdish communities in Diyala, particularly in Khanqin, while advocating for the return and rights of displaced Kurdish families affected by ISIS violence and political neglect since 2017.
