Shih Yi-hsiang

Shih Yi-hsiang is the secretary-general of the Taiwan Association for Human Rights, actively advocating for the rights of migrant fishers in Taiwan's fishing industry. He has highlighted the inadequacies in Taiwan’s labor regulations that fail to protect fishers working on vessels outside of Taiwan’s waters, arguing that such omissions violate international law and contribute to exploitation in the sector.
