Shiki Shani

Retired Major General Shiki Shani is a former commander in the Israel Air Force who played a pivotal role in the famous Operation Entebbe in 1976. He was the pilot of the Hercules aircraft that transported Israeli commandos to rescue hostages from a hijacked plane in Uganda. With a rich history in military aviation, Shani has contributed significantly to the development of the Hercules fleet in Israel and continues to share his experiences and insights on military strategy and operations.
