Shoghi Effendi

Shoghi Effendi, born in 1897, was the great-grandson of Baha'u'llah and served as the Guardian of the Baha'i Faith from 1921 until his death in 1957. He played a crucial role in the expansion and consolidation of the Baha'i community worldwide, guiding its development and establishing the administrative order of the Faith. Shoghi Effendi is also known for his translations of Baha'i texts and for his vision of a global society based on the principles of Baha'i teachings, which emphasize unity, justice, and equality among all people.
