Shokir Tursun
Shokir Tursun is a prominent educator and one of the authors of the national curriculum for the Uzbek language in Uzbekistan. He has recently been in the news for expressing concerns over the inclusion of all 14 presidential schools in the 2025 PISA research, arguing that this could artificially enhance the results and compromise the representativeness of the study, as these schools represent only about 1% of the student population.
